Pricing determined by referencing values from form fields.
How it works:
- Instead of setting a fixed price, system pulls price from a form field
- Price can vary based on user input
- Conditions determine which form field to use
Example 1: Customs Duty Service
Business Case: Duty calculation based on item value declared in the import form
Form Structure:
Import Details:
- Item Category (dropdown): Electronics/Clothing/Food
- Declared Values (required fields):
* itemValue: [user enters value]
* insuranceCost: [user enters value]
* shippingCost: [user enters value]
* Total CIF Value: [calculated field = itemValue + insuranceCost + shippingCost]
Pricing Configuration:
Scenario 1(Without Condition):
- Price: Use value from field "Total CIF Value"
[Price is whatever value is calculated in the "Total CIF Value" field]
Scenario 2(with condition):
- Condition: Item Category = CLOTHING
- Price: Use value from field "itemValue"
[Price is taken directly from "itemValue" field]
Attribute Based pricing Best used when:
- Prices need to be calculated from user inputs
- Different form fields determine the final price
- Pricing logic depends on application data
- Scenario Panels: Each scenario contains:
- (a) Price input field
- (b) Currency selector
- (c) Condition section with:
- Attribute selector (Field in Form: eg: ID Type)
- Comparator dropdown (Equal To, Greater Than, Greater or Equal To, Less Than, Less or Equal To)
- Value field(Input for value you want compare field with: e.g:, CHILDID. Note that this will be pre-filled with available option if the attribute selected is a DropDown contain known properties.
- Add Condition button: Adds more conditions within the same scenario
