This course takes one service through its whole life on IremboHub: an organization starts it, a service manager builds it, a QA reviewer approves it, the organization signs it off, an IremboGov admin activates it, and then applicants use it and officers process it until a certificate is issued.
You will also learn to operate a service: read the logs in Kibana, recognise the common failures (wrong role on a transition, an office that does not exist, a state that does not exist) and fix a live service safely with a Service Improvement.
The course has three levels, each ending with a graded checkpoint and a practical assignment:
The six places a service lives
| Portal (staging) | Who uses it | What you do there |
|---|---|---|
| Organization portal | Organization admin | Start a new service or a Service Improvement, pick the service manager and QA reviewer, sign off, choose the publishing portals |
| Service Management Portal | Service manager, QA reviewer | Configure the service (Overview, Form, Pricing, Workflow, Officer Form, Translation), test it, review it |
| Admin portal | IremboGov admin / partnership manager | Final approval of a new service on a marketplace portal (Citizen Portal, Irembo Plus, RDB OSC...) |
| Citizen portal (and Irembo Plus, RDB OSC) | Applicant | Apply, pay, follow the application, download the certificate |
| Officer portal | Officer | Process applications: approve, reject, request for action |
| Kibana (staging), Discover | Service manager, support | Read engine logs to find why an application failed or is stuck |
You need a service manager account on the staging Service Management Portal (an IremboHub admin approves it; you activate it from the email link). To follow the Kibana lessons you also need Kibana access. Request both through the Irembo service desk.
To try the applicant side, create a citizen account on the staging citizen portal. Most services require a verified account; for training, use a service that allows non-verified applicants, or ask the support team to verify your test account.
Tip · email login
On the staging citizen portal the login form opens on the phone number. Click Use email instead (the email toggle) to sign in with an email account.
