Officers work in the officer portal. You do not need to process a real application to learn it: open any existing application in the inbox and look around. Officers only see applications assigned to their office.

The application panel
The buttons are the transitions from the current state that this officer may fire. Approve runs immediately when the transition has no officer form; Reject and Request for Action ask for a comment, which the notification sends to the applicant.

Requested for Action: waiting for the applicant
Gotcha · an office with no working officer
Our first demo application (
C260930153624GYAJSI) went to an office whose only officer account had no officer profile. It was assigned, paid, and invisible to everyone. Before go-live, check that the office in your OFFICE_ASSIGNMENT action has active officers.
An officer says the Approve button is missing on an application. What is the most likely cause?
B. The portal only shows transitions the signed-in officer may fire from the current state. We reproduced this in lesson D6 (authorisedUsers set to someone else).
